Getting Started

Your dashboard is the central hub of talentATS, providing an overview of your recruitment activity and quick access to key features. This guide will help you understand what you're seeing and how to make the most of your dashboard.

Dashboard Overview

When you log in to talentATS, you'll land on your dashboard. The dashboard provides:

  • Key Metrics - Important recruitment statistics at a glance

  • Quick Actions - Fast access to common tasks

  • Recent Activity - Overview of your latest recruitment activity

  • Navigation - Access to all areas of the system

Key Metrics

Your dashboard displays important metrics that help you understand your recruitment activity:

Live Jobs

  • Number of currently active job postings

  • Shows jobs that are live and accepting applications

Candidates

  • Total number of candidates in your system

  • May show candidates by status (new, shortlisted, etc.)

Interviews

  • Upcoming interviews scheduled

  • May show interviews for today or this week

Applications

  • Recent applications received

  • May show applications from the last 24 hours or week

Navigation Menu

The sidebar navigation provides access to all main areas:

Vacancies

  • Add Vacancy - Create a new job posting

  • Live Vacancies - View and manage your active job postings

Interviews

  • View all scheduled interviews

  • Manage interview calendar

Reporting

  • Access reporting suite

  • Generate custom reports

Settings

  • Organisation management

  • User management

  • Teams

  • Career page settings

  • Billing

Quick Actions

Your dashboard may include quick action buttons for:

  • Creating a new vacancy

  • Viewing recent applications

  • Scheduling interviews

  • Accessing reports

Dashboard Customisation

Depending on your role and permissions, you may see:

  • Admin Dashboard - If you're a system administrator

  • Standard Dashboard - For regular users

  • Custom Views - Based on your organisation's setup

Understanding Your Role

The dashboard content may vary based on your role:

  • Organisation Admin - Full access to all features

  • Recruiter - Focus on vacancies and candidates

  • Hiring Manager - View relevant vacancies and candidates

  • Team Lead - Manage team-specific information

Tips

  • Check your dashboard regularly to stay on top of recruitment activity

  • Use quick actions to save time on common tasks

  • Pay attention to key metrics to understand your recruitment performance

  • Customise your view if options are available

Navigating Away from the Dashboard

To access different areas:

  • Click on menu items in the sidebar

  • Use quick action buttons

  • Navigate using breadcrumbs (if available)

  • Use the search function (if available)

Troubleshooting

I can't see certain features:

  • Your role may not have permission for those features

  • Contact your organisation administrator to request access

  • Some features may require a specific subscription plan

The dashboard looks different than expected:

  • Dashboard content varies by role and permissions

  • Organisation settings may affect what's displayed

  • Check with your administrator if you have questions

Metrics seem incorrect:

  • Metrics are calculated in real-time

  • There may be a slight delay in updates

  • Refresh the page if numbers seem outdated
