Getting Started
talentATS uses Stripe for secure payment processing. This guide will help you set up your billing information and manage your subscription.
Accessing Billing Settings
To access your billing settings:
Click on your profile icon in the top right corner
Select "Billing" from the dropdown menu
You'll be redirected to the Stripe billing portal
Alternatively, you can navigate to Settings > Billing if available in your menu.
Setting Up Payment Methods
When you first access the billing portal:
Enter Payment Details
Add your credit or debit card information
Stripe securely processes all payments
Your card details are never stored on talentATS servers
Billing Address
Enter your billing address
Ensure it matches the address associated with your payment method
Save Payment Method
Your payment method will be saved securely
You can update it at any time
Understanding Your Subscription
In the billing portal, you can view:
Current Plan - Your active subscription plan
Billing Frequency - How often you're charged (monthly or annually)
Next Billing Date - When your next payment will be processed
Payment History - Past invoices and payments
Managing Your Subscription
Adding Users To Your Plan
To add new users to your plan:
Click Settings > Access Management > Users
Invite a new user to the Organisation and Team
Your new user will receive a welcome email with link to set a password
Once activated the new user will be added to your subscribed plan
Removing A User From Your Plan
To remove a user from your plan::
Click Settings > Access Management > Users
Click the ellipsis icon next to the user you want to remove
Select Remove User
Your subscription plan will automatically update at the next scheduled billing date
Cancelling Your Subscription
If you need to cancel:
Click the arrow icon next to your profile image
Go to Manage Plan
Select "Cancel Subscription"
Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation
You'll continue to have access until the end of your paid period
Updating Payment Methods
To update your payment method:
Click the arrow icon next to your profile image
Go to Manage Plan
Select "Manage Billing"
You will be directed to a Stripe portal to securely access and update your payment details
Save the changes
Viewing Invoices
To view and download invoices:
Click the arrow icon next to your profile image
Go to Manage Plan
Select "Manage Billing"
You will be directed to a Stripe portal to securely access and download invoices
Billing Cycles
Your billing cycle depends on your plan:
Monthly Plans - Charged on the same date each month
Annual Plans - Charged once per year on your subscription anniversary
Automatic Renewal
By default, subscriptions automatically renew:
You'll be charged automatically at the end of each billing period
You'll receive email notifications before renewal
You can disable auto-renewal in billing settings
Payment Issues
If you experience payment problems:
Failed Payments
Check that your payment method is valid
Ensure sufficient funds are available
Update your payment method if the card has expired
Contact your bank if issues persist
Refunds
Refund requests should be directed to support
Refunds are processed according to our terms of service
Contact support for assistance with refunds
Security
All payment processing is handled securely:
Stripe is PCI DSS compliant
Your card details are encrypted
talentATS never stores your full card information
All transactions are secure
Troubleshooting
I can't access the billing portal:
Ensure you have Organisation Admin permissions
Check that billing is enabled for your organisation
Contact support if access issues persist
My payment failed:
Verify your payment method is valid
Check with your bank for any restrictions
Update your payment method in billing settings
Contact support if the problem continues
I need to change my billing address:
Update your address in the billing portal
Ensure it matches your payment method's billing address
Changes may take effect immediately
I want to switch to annual billing:
Contact support to discuss plan changes
Annual plans may offer cost savings
Your current plan will remain active until the change is processed
